Not sure I will go back. My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, and I arrived as the first individual in the office at 7:47 AM. While I was seen promptly after my appointment time, the nurse/doctor came in to address my questions and then left, indicating that the doctor would be in shortly.
However, by 10:15 AM, I had still not seen the doctor, and no one had come in to check on my status or provide any updates. I felt compelled to open my door and seek assistance myself. At 10:30 AM, which was 2 hours and 30 minutes after my arrival, I approached the front desk to inform them that I needed to leave. This level of service is, unfortunately, unacceptable.
Islamorada medical center is an awesome place for your medical care. Everyone in this office is so friendly and they really care about your medical needs. They take the time to listen to you and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I recently moved to Homestead and I still come down here for the doctors. They are the best.
Many people talk about how their dr could care less about them that they don’t listen to them . My Dr who is Phashant KARKAL actually takes the time to listen and you can see that he cares that is so important you know your pains and you’re trying to express it. You want everything fed he listens when he prescribed something he takes the time to find out within that period how you’re doing? Is it working? Who does that? I am so happy with him and I’m sure anybody else would be. I can keep on going definitely five stars for certain and I think you Doctor for caring.
I’ve had a great experience at this office. Dr. Diaz, Dr. D Desai, and all the residents and staff have been professional, kind, and attentive. They truly take the time to listen and provide quality care. Highly recommend!
Without a doubt the most unorganized Drs office you’ve ever been to. About a 45 minute wait past the scheduled appt (I could get over that not uncommon) but the lack of communication, and unprofessionalism of there front desk was absolutely disgusting. I came to this office struggling I didn’t need a receptionist calling to scold me I needed information how to get help. These people are in the wrong line of work and certainly are not looking out for the patients best interest. Absolutely disgusting how this woman spoke to me I believe her name was Iris but spoke in broken English so had a hard time understanding her while she yelled at me. Go anywhere else but here.
I've had an excellent experience with the doctors and the entire staff at Islamorada MedicalCenter. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. During an urgent situation, when I was in excruciating pain, they immediately jumped to my aid to help me.
Dr Diaz and all the other doctors in the clinic take the time to listen to my concerns and explain things clearly, which makes me feel confident and informed about my care.
I’m grateful to have found such a trustworthy and compassionate healthcare provider. Highly recommended!
Being a walk-in place can make it so there are times when it is a long wait but I have had such professional encounters with the staff and doctors that I highly recommend Islamorada Medical Center.
