What to Expect

Comprehensive skin cancer diagnosis and treatment including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy for basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and pre-cancerous lesions.

Diagnostic Care

  • Follow wound care instructions; expect some bruising/swelling.

  • Protect healing skin from sun exposure.

  • Report increasing redness, drainage, fever, or severe pain.

  • Attend all follow-ups to monitor healing and margins, if applicable.

  • Which treatment will I get? Options include excision, Mohs referral, or topical/cryotherapy—chosen by type/location.

  • Scarring? Some scarring is expected; we’ll plan for best cosmetic outcome.

  • Margins/recurrence? Pathology guides margins; regular skin checks remain important.

  • Activity limits? Avoid strain on the area until cleared.
