What to Expect

Therapeutic injections including corticosteroids and hyaluronic acid for arthritis, bursitis, and joint inflammation. Provides long-lasting pain relief and improved mobility.

  • Rest the joint for 24–48 hours; avoid heavy use.

  • Ice 10–15 minutes at a time as needed.

  • Temporary flare pain can occur; use only approved pain relief.

  • Diabetics: monitor glucose, which can transiently rise after steroid injections.

  • When will it work? Relief may be immediate (anesthetic) and improve over 1–3 days (steroid).

  • How long does it last? Weeks to months vary by condition and response.

  • How many can I get? Frequency is limited—your clinician will set a safe schedule.

  • Red flags? Fever, severe swelling, or worsening pain—contact the clinic.
