What to Expect

Therapeutic injections including corticosteroids and hyaluronic acid for arthritis, bursitis, and joint inflammation. Provides long-lasting pain relief and improved mobility.

24 - 48 hours

Rest the joint for 24–48 hours; avoid heavy use.
Ice 10–15 minutes at a time as needed.
Temporary flare pain can occur; use only approved pain relief.
Diabetics: monitor glucose, which can transiently rise after steroid injections.

When will it work? Relief may be immediate (anesthetic) and improve over 1–3 days (steroid).
How long does it last? Weeks to months vary by condition and response.
How many can I get? Frequency is limited—your clinician will set a safe schedule.
Red flags? Fever, severe swelling, or worsening pain—contact the clinic.
