Colonoscopy Referral

PROCEDURE

What to Expect

Coordination and referral for colonoscopy screening to detect colorectal cancer, polyps, and other GI conditions. We handle pre-procedure consultation and follow-up care.

Preventive

Consultation

No Downtime

  • After the procedure (with the specialist): you’ll need a driver if sedated.

  • Follow dietary and medication guidance provided post-procedure.

  • Watch for severe pain, persistent bleeding, or fever—seek care.

  • Return to us with the specialist’s report for next steps.

  • Why the referral? Screening/prevention, or evaluation of symptoms.

  • How often is screening? Depends on risk and findings—your clinician will advise.

  • What about meds? Some require adjustments; the specialist will give exact instructions.

  • If results are normal? Future screening interval is set by guidelines and risk.
