PROCEDURE

What to Expect

Comprehensive allergy testing to identify environmental and food allergens, followed by customized immunotherapy treatment plans including allergy shots for long-term relief.

Diagnostic Care

30 - 45 min

No Downtime

  • For testing: mild redness/itching is common; cool compress or approved topical may help.

  • For shots: remain in clinic for observation; report any throat tightness, wheeze, or hives.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise for several hours post-shot if advised.

  • Keep a symptom diary to track responses between visits.

  • Side effects? Local swelling/itching is most common; severe reactions are rare but urgent.

  • Antihistamines before shots? Often allowed; follow your provider’s plan.

  • Missed dose? Scheduling may be adjusted—don’t “double up” without guidance.
